Olesya Hauer – Managing Partner

In 2008 Ms. Hauer became a Founding/Managing Partner of the law firm WatersOAG, LLC. Major international and Russian companies operating in various sectors of the economy such as Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Investment Industry, Real Estate and others, refer to WatersOAG for legal assistance. As Managing Partner Olesya Hauer directly works on the most complex (key) cases and manages the work of other lawyers within the law firm.

From 2006 – 2007 – deputy chairman of the legal committee of the Association of European Businesses (Russia). Ms. Hauer has been engaged in working groups to develop draft laws, including revisions of the Civil Code and the law on investments in strategic sectors of the Russian economy.

From 2005 – 2008 – head of the corporate client department within Norman DL Associates Law Firm (Russia). Involved in Merger and Acquisition projects she acquired extensive experience related to company restructurings and major transaction support.

In 2001 – internship in the United States with a company engaged in the management of professional responsibility/liability of lawyers.

Graduated with honors from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, with a degree in law, specializing in civil law.
